For private training, I come to you at your preferred location.

We offer a free initial 25-minute discussion by phone or video call to gather general information about you, your dog, the current situation and your goals.

If you choose to proceed with private training after the free initial consultation, a 90-minute on-site assessment (at your location) will be required except for puppies. During this session, I will observe you and your dog, collect detailed background information, and provide an outline of a preliminary training or treatment plan.

Standard rate for an hour of private training.

Programs for advanced skills training or more complex cases involving significant behaviour issues are customized and rates can be adjusted according to the situation.

Typically, there is an additional charge for "excess" travel time whenever your location is more than 25km from Collingwood.  This fee can be adjusted and negotiated.  Ask for details.

10% discount when committing in advance to 4 training sessions.

15% discount when committing in advance to 6 training sessions.

We train outdoors on the one-of-a-kind River Song estate in Nottawa.  After class, we enjoy a social "pack walk" around the pond.  It is a special experience that you will not find anyone else. 

The Level 1 Basic Obedience program runs for seven weeks and is designed to help your dog become a well-mannered companion both inside and outside the home and to understand and follow basic obedience commands.  The course will give you the knowledge and skills to continue training on your own.

Coming soon!  This 7-week program builds on the foundation provided in Level 1 Basic Obedience and brings skills and knowledge to an intermediate level.  These skills include greater use and understanding of hand signals, stay, recall and other commands under greater distractions and off leash, formal heeling and Sphinx drop.  Dogs must have taken the Level 1 Basic Obedience course unless you schedule a private 1-hour assessment in advance.

Coming in 2027 - stay tuned.  Dogs must have taken the Level 2 Intermediate Obedience.

Puppy Walks runs weekly for four weeks and includes socialization, enrichment and some elementary obedience.  The program also allows your dog to be off leash in a safe and stimulating outdoor environment.  The program is not designed to replicate other obedience classes, but can be paired with the Level 1 Basic Obedience course at a 10% discount on both.

You will receive $8.75 per private session booked by the new client to a maximum total credit of $35.
