About Caliper Ridge
I am Geoffrey Hancock, owner of Caliper Ridge and a professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) in Collingwood serving the Southern Georgian Bay region. At Caliper Ridge, we provide personalized dog training programs designed to meet the needs of each dog and owner. Training includes obedience work from foundational skills to advanced techniques, as well as behavioural support for challenges such as anxiety, fear, reactivity, and low confidence. We also offer group obedience training classes and puppy walks in a dynamic, safe and enriching environment.
All training follows Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) principles and uses positive reinforcement to build trust and long-lasting results. We focus on creating clear and consistent communication, structured routines, and practical skills that support everyday life. Whether you need guidance with puppy training, basic obedience, advanced training, or help with complex behavioural issues, We offer tailored programs that support real progress. For private consultations, I come to you at your preferred location and are available most evenings and weekends.
